I have been a freelance journalist for nearly 20 years and have written for amazing clients such as Downhome, Atlantic Business, Saltscapes, Today's Parent, and Club Manager Quarterly magazines, CBC Newfoundland and Labrador, The Telegram, The Chronicle Herald, and West Coast Wire. I am affiliated with the Writers Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador (WANL).​

Over the years, I have won many awards for my journalism, writing, and communications published in provincial, regional, and national magazines, newspapers, and online publications, including the Canadian News Awards for Outstanding Editorial Achievement in the Non-Deadline Writing and Design and Graphics categories. I was also an Atlantic Journalism Awards finalist in both the Newspaper and Magazine categories.
